Vegas, Rain, Temple prep...

ok first- as much as I love the rain, this is getting ridiculous! I want the sunshine! Going from the 100's in Vegas to this is such a bummer. It makes my mood all like depressed and it doesnt give you that happy go lucky feeling. BOO! I feel like we are never going to see the sun! ok enough of that! So this last weekend me and McCall went to Vegas! It was a short but fun little vacation! We rented a car and had a little road trip which added to the feel of the whole thing! Some of the highlights of the trip- eating a HUMONGOUS ice cream sundae from Serendipity and feeling so sick afterwards, Seeing a Vegas wedding by the Vegas sign- I even saw Elvis! ha ha, and eating another GIGANTIC bacon waffle from Hash House A Go Go. It was DELICIOUS!!! I sadly didnt finish it all! Saturday was our full day there and we had our little mishaps! ha ha everything we had planned didnt really work but as much of a bummer it was it made for a funny day! We got to see a chocolate factory who wasnt making chocolate so instead we walked around the cactus garden, we got to see the Las Vegas Neveda Temple which has an interesting architecture to it. we saw the treasure island show which was so ridiculous we didnt stay for the whole thing. Oh and we were in our room by like eight, eight thirty every night! ha ha Looking back it was just a funny vacation! It was my last little hoorah before I leave and it was a good one! I am glad I got to spend it with McCall! Now I really have to buckle down and really start prepping for the mish! I have my temple recommend so now I can set a date to go and get my endownments out! So excited! It such a huge step and am so excited! Its so scary that I leave so soon.. about ten weeks and four days! ah!! But I know that I need to trust the lord and everything will be ok!
